The hotel was dog friendly and located in the center of the village with a large car park at the rear. The rooms need serious work and decorating as they are really dated and it was too hot because the radiator was on all night. The service was friendly and helpful, although there seemed to be a need for renovations in the area. The dining experience was very good value for money with a meaty Scottish fry-up and good coffee. The facilities were adequate, but next to the kitchen vent.

Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and reasonably priced, but we encountered an issue with the toilet that was promptly resolved by the staff. The service was attentive, although there were some mishaps with the booking. The location was excellent for exploring the area but showed signs of needing renovation. The dining experience was exceptional, especially the Scottish fry-up breakfast, despite some cleanliness issues. The facilities were satisfactory, although the hotel could benefit from a refurbishment.

The room size was really good, and we appreciated the staff carrying our heavy case up the steep stairs. There was an initial unpleasant smell from the saniflo toilet, which was later fixed.

The hotel is located in the center of the village, which is quieter and suitable as a base to explore around the area. The rooms were full of flies and up a steep flight of stairs, but the friendly staff kindly carried our very heavy case. Despite some minor room issues, the service was amazing, and we will gladly stay there again. The dining experience was more than adequate, although a bit pricy for the value. The location is good for an overnight stay, and the large car park at the rear is convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located on the high street with a large car park at the rear, making it a suitable base for exploring the surrounding area. The service was friendly and accommodating, although the noise from the bar slightly spoiled the experience. The dining was pleasant with a meaty Scottish fry-up for breakfast. The room, while noisy until 1 am and with bits of broken furniture, provided an okay experience for an overnight stay. The facilities were satisfactory, but certain aspects like the need for renovation were noticeable.

The location was perfect, right in the center of the village, offering a great base to explore the surroundings. The dining experience was excellent value for money.
